Special Features

TS Seal has strong adhesion and maintain semipermanent elasticity, and the following purposes can be completed due to its non-hardenability for long years.

Strong Waterproofing

  1. Waterproofing at 70%/ 0.1Mpa : surface 10mm, bottom 15mm, height 13mm
  2. More than 0.1Mpa waterproofing at 200% rate of elongation.
    (Testing material : 20 x 45mm TS Seal)
  3. No immersion of water and methane from the pipe joint of jacking pipe because TS Seal will deform and encapsulate along with the deformity of jacking pipes.

Cushioning Effect & Earthquake Resistant

  1. In case of filling TS Seal on the pipe edge, it encapsulates the gap of the joint parts by absorbing the pressure of the pipe surface, which can secure permanent waterproofing and earthquake resistant.
  2. In case of filling TS Seal into the box ditches, the strong adhesion and the elasticity can secure perfect waterproofing by its cushioning effect with only 1-2mm width.
  3. As TS Seal has 5 times of the elongation, the expansion and contraction are at will. ( at our test result)
  4. Thanks to TS Seal restoring force, it can correspond to the expansion and contraction of the joint part in the construction.

Other features

  1. After construction, it prevents water immersion and keeps the bare minimum of the control of maintenance, and can decrease the cost of the sewage at the final landfill site.
  2. By filling TS Seal, the corrosion of steal collar of the joint will be protected and improve the durability.
  3. In compare with other sealing materials, TS Seal is far superior and excellent in the points of waterproofing, chemical resistance, and weatherability.

TS Seal : Explosion Protection by Muddy water Jacking Method

  1. Application of Muddy water Jacking Method.
    In this construction way, the pipe goes in muddy water directly.
    So the muddy water containing Methane is released outside underground from the pipe with TS Seal. Different from Muddy water pressure system and Muddy water system, Methane doesn’t stay in jacking machine or pipe because of no opening section.
  2. Application of Special Aerotolerant TS Seal
    The TS Seal is to be sealed in advance to bend or joint section in order to prevent Methane. With this way, equipment for explosion resistance of jacking machine and pipe are not necessary any more, which gives you considerable amount of cost down and security of safety.
  3. Application of Ultimate system
    By this system, to automatize jacking machine operation and lubricant automatic injection system and land survey are not any more necessary by this Ultimate system, you don’t have to work jacking operation in the pipe. You can take preventive measures and minimize human damage.
